Join us as we explore the complex realities of Digital Nomadism — from the origins of the movement to present-day regulations and trends — as this diverse group of experts discuss an array of issues surrounding Digital Nomad Visas.

    Did You Know?

24 countries worldwide have implemented a Digital Nomad Visa program…since June 2020.

  • Belgrade has emerged as a popular destination for digital nomads and remote workers despite not offering a specific visa, thanks to the country’s lenient restrictions in the thick of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.

The capital city of Belgrade has a population of 1.5 million people, and is one of the oldest and continuously inhabited cities in Europe and the world. It also served as the capital of former Yugoslavia from its creation in 1918 to its dissolution in 2006.

Serbia carries the vibe of a world-class metropole, but is still one of the cheapest capitals in Europe. A one room apartment in Belgrade would rent for anywhere from $200-$400.

“There is a paradigm shift taking place. One that is gaining attention at governmental levels and carving out pathways for what seems to be a new era of global mobility.”
